Steve Vandehey (member) and I teamed up. Started at 4pm on Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday am. Caught a total of 176. Steve hauled in the bigs at 5.3 & 4.8. Caught approx.30-40 in 3-4.5 range, too many to count in the 2-3 range. Scott Benson (member) and guest fished Saturday and caught 76 plus Scott hauled in anothe 12 on Sunday am. Bites took place all over the lake. Literally no weeds!!!! Lake was 2-3 inches from being 100% full. Water was a little murky from recent rains but overall, the best condition I have ever experienced from having fished this lake at least 10 times. Great weather, except for afternoon heat, enough breeze for drifting and the boats worked great….Thanks Wade and the owner. On a another note….look up Hynes Bay Outdoor Products...”hookremover.com”….its a gadget that every fisherman MUST have...the absolute best at removing swallowed worm hooks...brilliant invention. It saved at least 30 bass from dying due swallowing worm hooks. I met the inventor...Carl Wilson at a trade show in Fulton prior to a salt water trip and used it numerous time on that trip. So simple to use and it is amazing how great it works.
