Got on the water at daylight. Second cast with a white spinnerbait a 14 inch crappie. Caught six more on small crankbaits. The bass bite was slow, only three dinks. No pattern, tried many colors and many lures. Great new lake. The brush piles are easily found around the lake. That is were the crappie were holding. Deepest water was around twelve feet with a foot of visibility. Boat launch area is great. Very peacefull place. I did finish my day with a 7 pound channel cat caught on a purple worm. I will return
