Been wanting to fish this lake because of the submerged old dam and boy did it pay off. Glass top water early led to a couple of good top water bites (and misses). Went to the dam and the water was clear for 5-7 feet so it was super easy to find the trees. Set up shop and pulled out some nice crappie and a couple more bass. Had a cat destroy a crappie jig. Went to lunch and church and retired about 4. Set up same area and absolutely wore out the crappie. About 7:30 the bass came to life and were hitting hard. Pulled in a nice 5.47 to end the trip!! Will definitely be back!!
