Fished Post Oak on a very warm & sunny Thursday with light (or no) wind from several directions.  Water was at a high level with some drainage over the outlet and looked like weak coffee with visibilty around 18 inches.  There was a little standing water from recent rains in several places on the access road.

Caught fish on a variety of lures and in most areas of the lake.  Worms rigged wacky and TR brought in the best numbers and some of the larger bass.  There were also several very large and aggressive panfish that tried to eat crankbaits and spinners. The wind died out for good in late afternoon and so did the bite, so I packed up and left a little early.

The place is beautiful as always and well-kept, grass and trees growing well and in good shape.  It’s a pleasure to spend a day at this ranch on the roomy pontoon boat.
