First time at Six-O. I really liked the property and the mini-pontoon. I was on the water at 7AM and off at 6PM. The temps were relatively mild in the morning with overcast skies. It drizzled a bit during the morning. Very little breeze. During this period the bite was pretty solid. I caught a lot of “unders” on lipless crank baits in open, deeper waters along grass lines. I caught one large crappie, probably > 1 lb. on a t-rigged beaver bait. I also managed to land a new personal best LMB around 1230PM in the grass with a t-rigged purple ribbontail work (pics included). That hawg weight 8.5 lbs. and went right around 27.25-27.5". Without a doubt that made the day. Once the sun came out and it got warmer the bite shut down.
