I fished with my 20 year old daughter, and this is easily her favorite property in the club. We got there around 7 am, and fished the East Lake. We tried topwater with little success, but we always find them along the wooded bank with Senkos. We also got them on T Rigged 10” worms, mostly around the wood. We had acouple in the 5 pound range beak us off. I don’t fish swimbaits often, but I put one on, and caught several with one made by 6th Sense called The Judge, green pumpkin with a chartreuse tail, mostly casting to the bank. Great action on that bait. After lunch, we went to the West Lake. Tried down by the dam, and got a couple with worms and craws. We went to the top of the lake, and had the wind just drift us back toward the dam, and we started getting them on that same Judge swimbait just blind casting to the middle of the lake. We would pick up five or six with each pass, and probably made that pass a half a dozen times. No dinks, all were very healthy hard fighting fish most between 2 1/2-3 ½ pounds with the largest going 4-5. It was really pretty remarkable how consistent each pass was. We went back to the East Lake late in the afternoon, and caught a few more, but it was a very hot day (mid 90’s) and the evening bite never really materialized. We unded up in the 45 fish range. A really good day on a really good property.
