Fished from about 7-11, water temp was 77-78. It was cloudy, windy and about to rain all day. Started off hot catching them on a frog. Once that bite died off I started throwing a swim jig around the island and that's where the big came. My scale may be broken because it gave me 4.4, 4.7 and then 5. I'm thinking she was closer to 6. Grass had taken over just about every bank, all the way out roughly 20 feet or so, it made it tough to fish but the fish were coming in the open spots in all the grass. Overall it was a great day, although the wind was rough.
