Hard to fish out of a kayak with a strong wind. Managed to find some calm pockets to fish in. However only caught 6, none of any size. There are a ton of weeds around the edge of the whole lake as well as just below the suface even out into deeper water almost to the trees. Could not throw any thing with a treble or exposed hook – weeds got attached npo matter where the lure was tossed. Caught all fish on weedless soft plastics (worm, horny toad and brush hog). Got most fish and several bites at south end just past the end of the surface weeds.
