Total Fish/Sizes : 7 LMB, 1 Bluegill/1 lb bass mostly with a 3.4 lber for the biggest.
Lures Used : Whopper Plopper, Bluegill Swim Bait, Chatter Bait, Senko of 7 different colors, Buzz Bait, Crick Hopper, Fluke

Caught 1 on Whopper Plopper in middle straight out from boat ramp. Caught 5 by 8:15 and then nothing. Caught 2 more about 11:15 using Whopper Plopper and Chatter Bait. Senko hooked the most fish. Pretty slow day for Malouf compared to my past experiences. You can work most of the lake except the south end as the vegetation gets very thick about 2/3 of the way to the south end. Very still most of the day with very little wind. Between 8:30 and 11:00, I threw everything I could find in the tackle box except Texas rigged worm. Getting hot out there. Make sure you take something to sit on in the boat as the metal gets VERY hot when in the sun just a couple of minutes. Best thing is the boat did not leak at all. Thanks to landowner and PWF for a lake that is not very far from the MetroMess.
