Pleasant day at JZS Ranch.  Fished the South big pond during the morning.  Pond is high from all the recent rain and a bit stained.  Caught fish all morning around the perimeter of the lake.  Most fish caught up against the bank near the flooded grass.  

Weeds were present near the shore requiring the use of top water or a weedless worm.  Out in the middle of the pond weeds were not much of an issue.

No boat on site.

Overall a fun day catching hard fighting fish.  Nothing huge but plenty of action.

Also had a chance to meet the landowner who was checking his property and making the rounds  Very pleasant gentleman.
