Took a guest who was not fished much out kayak fishing. The guest caught nine bass with the largest 4 1/25 lbs mostly on a yum dinger on a trig with 1/32 oz wt. He gravitated toward the deeper water targeting tree stumps.

The lake was full with visibility of only 18”.The lilly pads are getting thick and the vegetation has extended 10 to 20 yards out from the lilly pads coming close to the surface,6 inches to 3 ft over much of the lake.

Most of my fish were out from the lilly pads 10 to twenty yards and both wacky rig and trig yum dinger worked. The best colors were wat/seed,blue fleck and wat/red. My best fish was 4 lbs. I ended up with 19 bass. 64 % of all the bass were under 14” and removed.

My guest managed to flip his kayak so I lost and hour and a half getting him back to shore and restarted.

Took a look a Acher Lake on the way out and it was full with visibility on only 12”. It did not look promishing.
