Reservation Number : 43457
Property Name : Indian Hollow Ranch
Reservation Date : 05/10/2025 PM -
Total Fish/Sizes : 53
Lures Used : Spinnerbait, squarebill, trig creature, jig & trailer, swimbait

I got to fish the beautiful Indian Hollow Ranch for the first time. My daughter was supposed to fish with me, but she wasn't able to come. The property has a convenient quick access to the lake and was very scenic. I was able to view a momma deer and her fawn strolling the shoreline without them being startled. The grass was grown up, but that didn't bother me. The property boat was a third full of water, since it was left upright with the drain plug in. I had to wait a little bit for the water to drain. I ended up fishing from 1-7 pm. It was a bit windy and I forgot the anchor. I used the wind to drift along the grass edges and worked cranks and a spinnerbait. I had to clean my hooks often because of grass and hydrilla. I threw the trig creature punching the grass as well. First time there, so I didn't get to explore every bit of the lake especially with it being windy. It does have a lot of small fish similar to Six O Ranch which needs culling. Released only 2 bass over 14 inches including the big sow. Took home 51 undersize. Forgot my bag with the scale. Look at her belly, and what do you think she weighs??

I have not been yet. Have a good friend living outside Hugo. Indian Hollow and Backside of the Moon probably the best Silver Member lakes for catching g a very big fish. Indian Hollow I bet, since it has been in the club a very long time, is in desperate need of culling more than some. When something hits the water, first fish gets it, fastest fish wins. Dinks faster and braver than hawks. That fish looks like she wants to spawn one more time, if not eggs let us hope it is from last year's batch

Indian hollow has one of the best layouts of club lakes.  It does need some serious harvesting, but there's no doubt it still holds some big ones.  I wish I could fish it more.  I live in Oklahoma and it's still almost a 3 hour drive for me.

John, you ought to try it. It has a great layout by the ways. Later on I was trying to work deeper vs perimeter fishing to get the bigger bites. It was kind of difficult with it being windy. Lots of stumps and trees below if you have electronics. I really thought they all have spawned until I caught the 2 with bellies.

Danny, I agree with the layout and the harvesting. It makes you feel like you are fishing a big lake. That’s why I need to take my daughter. She could have a blast and she might catch her PB too. Crazy how you are still 3 hours away being in Oklahoma.
