Fished a nice warm Thursday afternoon at Bremmond.  Skies were partly cloudy to start and turned to thick clouds later in the day with some late sprinkles as light winds died. The lake remains very low with signs of a few inches of increase from recent rains and just a few trees in the water.  Visibilty was around 2 ft.  The ranch is green with new growth.  Water weeds & snotty stuff are prevalent in shallow areas but mostly a foot or so underwater.

Had moderate activity all afternoon around edges of the lake and in the weeds.  Most were in the 2 to 4 lb range with only 7 culls.  Found only a few reluctant takers in deeper parts.  A couple of frog patterns and poppers got lots of hits and blow-ups in late afternoon.  A dozen or more tailbiters took line & ran for a while with the frogs before getting off but fortunately managed to get a good number of others into the boat.
