Member Mike Svoboda and I fished Waco Creek on Thursday, October 25th and saw all kinds of weather. In the morning it was warm, with a light wind out of the south. About 2 pm the wind switched to directly out of the north and began blowing very hard. The temp also dropped 20-25 degrees. We caught 32 Bass of which we harvested 8. A lot of the lake is covered with thick grass and the only bait we were succesful with was a spinner bait. Was glad to hear the landowner added grass eating Carp earlier this year that should help make the lake fish bigger. The boats are set up nice with a trolling motor in the back as well as in the front, which really helped when the high winds came up in the afternoon.
