My uncle and I fishing a half day at Trinity Lakes on 4/12/2025. On the water just after daybreak and had pretty steady action for the time we were there. Started out at Arrowhead lake. Both lakes are full right now with the water on Arrowhead up to the spillway pipe. No issues launching our 15ft Jon boat, but the ramp area close to the water could use some grading when the water level gets lower as its really uneven. No takers on top water but I threw a bubble gum swim jig and had steady action the entire time we fished Arrowhead. Most of the fish were up on the bank on beds but we did catch a few in the standing timber in the middle of the lake. Fish were nice and healthy and fought pretty hard for their size. We went over to Goose lake where all of the fish we caught were on the bank. Once again I had good success on a bubble gum swim jig with all of our catches coming from the bank. My uncle had good success throwing a bubble gum wacky worm as well on both lakes. 

Caught 33 total and harvested 18 in a half day of fishing Arrowhead had some grass on the surface in the north end while Goose all grass is still below the surface. Another great trip down to Covington.
