Total Fish/Sizes : 7 total Bass 2x 2-2.5lbs, 2x 3lbs, 4lb, 5lb, and a 7lb
Lures Used : Green Pumpkin with Red Fleck/silver underbody Canethumper swimbait on a flashy underspin, weightless T-Rig 8in Black w/Blue Fleck Sticko, Smokey Shad Zoom fluke, White w/chartreuse tail Zoom fluke nose weighted.

My son and I fished all day from 11:30 AM to 7:15 PM. I fought the wind with the club boat. I need to replace my anchor with something that can grip better. If I didn't anchor in the grass, we were blown across the lake. When i wasn't fighting the wind and getting grass off of the trolling motor and anchor, we were catching fish.

As described in the previous report, they were caught at the edge line of the grass or they would come out of the top of the grass to eat the lures. Looking back i wish i had thrown a frog or buzz nait. However, this where the fluke shined. Boat was at the edge of the grass and I would cast to about 3 to 4 feet from the bank. Pop and drop the fluke or worm and they would kill it. My son had one take his fluke  by a white pvc pipe and darted to the right and past the boat. It was stripping line like crazy. He didn't have a good hook set and it came off. One or two casts later and I caught the 7 pounder between that marker and the bank. It wasn't fighting that hard at first, but when it jumped out of the water 2 times and I saw the size of the mouth, I knew it was a big fish. That one got me excited. I had fished this property with another member back in 2021. I broke my PB twice in the same trip with a 7.7 and a 8.6 caught in the middle ridge on a Smokey Shad Magnum Super Fluke and a White Chatterbait. Different times of the year though. 

We didn't catch a lot, but all of the bass were long and fat. Even the 2.5 pounder. The 7 pounder was slightly longer than my fish measuring tool. It stops at 22 inches. So it was slightly longer and I wasn't pinching the tail. I wanted to take a picture of that but I wanted to keep the bass safe and returned it to the water. I always make sure to keep the bass in the water between taking the hook out and taking pics, etc. 

I scanned fish all over the lake. I love coming to this property because I know there are lots of larger bass. There has to be 10 pound+ bass in there if I caught an 8.6 in 2021.
