Started a litte later than normal at 08:20 but got right into the action with three keepers in 12 minutes off laydowns on the bank to the left of the dam: 2.47, 3.42 and a 3.57.  All on a Worms for Warriors Waterbugg stick bait.  Bite slowed down until we got in the creek channel cove where 2 unders were caught off of 5 bites (light bites).  Fished the usually productive far left cove hard but no luck. I did miss a rod bender at one point – no tap tap on this one, a genuine pull the rod hard and I missed it!  Caught a couple more dinks along the dam before calling it a day.  Was waiting for some schoolies to start chasing bait but none popped up this time as they have in the past.  Will return for sure!! Have added a photo of a 17 that the owner caught in the lake that is currently mounted in the house. What a beast!!
