Fished Malouf this past Friday with my son from 8:30 – 12:30.  Water temps were 58-60 degrees. Caught around 15 bass the first 2 hours, all were in 1.5-2.5lb range with a couple dinks.  All were off the bank in 5-10 ft of water relating to grass.  Chatter bait caught most.
 

We took my sons boat which has live scope and he wanted go out in middle of the main lake and look around.   We didn't really see much bass activity but we did find a few little pods of slab crappie holding out in the middle of the lake.  Using basically a damiki rig, we chased these around the lake before surrendering to the unrelenting wind.  Kept 8 for the fryer.  

Fun day but that wind can really beat you down.
