Fished Cassidy Sat morning with another member in a pond prowler. The lake was a few inches from full,visibility of 18” and the vegetation not much of a problem. The wind was light until 9:30 and then became a problem which prevented us from being able to stay put in any one spot. This had a negative impack on catching much..

For the first 2 ½ hours we did well in the shallow north end using wtless senkos,wacky rigs, tx rig ribbon tail worms and creature baits.Wat/seed ,blue fleck and wat/red colors produced. After the wind picked up switched to heavier weights and also tried a chatter bait. The chatter bait did not get a single strike.

Caught 30 bass mostly in the 16” to 18” size with nothing over 18 1/4”. Only three bass under 14”. At 10 am ten pelicans came in on the north end feeding heavily in the shallow water.
