I took a guest to Legacy Oaks Ranch Saturday morning.  We arrived at gate at sun up and fished till about 1 pm.  We caught multiple bass all over the lake with multiple lures.  Mostly slow plasitcs near the north bank.  It was a STILL morning, incredible to not fight 30 MPH winds all day and the lake was clear water with most bass being 2-3 lb range.  The largest measured fish was 3.8 lbs and we culled 20 smaller guys.  The wind picked up about 10:30 am, but we stayed near the tree lined banks and were fine.

We used the club boat and while its not the newest in the club, it worked fine except for a small leak at the plug.  You get your feet wet but it’s not a big problem.  In 6 hours we took on a few gallons of pond water.

The weather was real good, the fishing was excellent and this is why I joined Private Waters and will always be a fan!!
