Blue Bird Day with light breeze growing stronger as the day progressed.

Water is clear with a nice bloom – 2 feet visibility

Water Temp 7AM – 59 degrees / Water Temp 2PM – 64 degrees

Day started off strong with the largest fish coming on first cast - 4.8lbs.  After that it was a grind.  Caught 8 males that definitly have been making beds and the females caught showed fin and body markings of spawning females.  The bite started to pick up at the end with a 3.6lber caught as welll.  As always, we were looking for a steady size of larger fish, but during the spawn it can be tough.  The bass have plenty of places to spawn in heavy pads.  The channel in the back of the lake was active as well.  10-10 Ranch is a great property and Craig does a great job making sure evrything is ready for your arrival.  Boat battery only lasted 6 hours so we called it early.
