Started at first light on one of my favorite lakes in the club. It was in the low 40s in the morning and was mid 70’s by the afternoon and very windy out of the south.   30-40 mph gusts!!   We were trying to figure out if the bigger bass had started to move up to the shallows.  Water temp was 59 to start the morning and ended up at 62 in the backs of some of the coves.  90% of our big fish came on a ¾ oz willow/colorado blade combo chartreuse spinner bait.  Big bass were positioned on windy points and offshore humps/weed patches.  We didn't catch anything up the southern end of the lake in the coves.  Our big fish were 9.5 lbs, 7.5 lbs and several in the upper and mid fives.  Our best 5 went well above 30lbs.  Truly one of the best days we have had on the water!   Thankful to the owners and Private Water Fishing for creating and maintaining such a great fishery!!
