1st time at timber lake, so I’m fishing down the west side neck and I hear a giant splash, I turn to see a large tree limb hit water , those buzzards were landing on them, and their so rotten they would break, from then on had to keep one eye to sky. Over all good trip for me, fished a full day caught 35 harvested 16, caught a couple of 5’s and some three’s, all the keepers came on a jig in the trees. nice lake need some rain, its a good 5 plus feet low. water temp 74 degrees

i know what you mean… i fished timber lake a couple weeks ago and 4 times the buzzards broke limbs off. luckily i was on other side of cove each time. i think the tall limbs are gonna start falling on this lake . its about 6 years old , so every one please watch out and steer clear of where the buzzards are landing
