Weather report called for 10 mph with higher gusts.  Arrive at 8:00am with aguest to 42 degree air temp and white caps on all lakes and first attempt at lock was unsuccesful.  Finally gave a huge yank and it opened. Water was clear to murky depending on level of moss and direction of wind.  Managed a few fish before noon and decided to amke a lunch trip to Paris.

Returning to lakes around 1:30 and wind had died some so at least there were no whitecaps and a cast into the wind did not come back in your face. Finished the day with 20 from 12” up to 4#.  Worst areas we found the moss about a foot below the surface.
