Total Fish/Sizes : 14 up to 3.8 LBS
Lures Used : Most effective was dark colored, weighted T-Rig curly tail worm

A bit of cold front came through overnight, so it was chillier than it has been, but the winds were light and the sun was out. Lake was in great shape, full pool, light vegetation, 60-63F, at about 30IN viz. We landed 14 with 6 at around 13IN and 8 that were thick ones between 2.8 and 3.8 LBS. We circled the lake a few times and criss-crossed a bit and tried several techniques. The only thing that worked was trying to pick off scattered bass from the sheer banks with well-placed dark colored, weighted T-Rig curly tail worms. The bites were SO SUBTLE we didn’t feel a single one of them. Just a “bit heavy” on the line. But they fought hard once hooked and all were fat, gorgeous specimens. Not a sniff on anything else, nothing at all on moving baits and zero reaction bites. All in all, had a great time – another fulfilling PWF outing.
