Four of us had an EPIC outing at Waco Creek Ranch!  The wind was unreal on Saturday and forced us off the lake just before noon, but before we ran for cover we had one of the best days of fishing that any of us could recall.  

Sunday was completely different weather (36 degrees  and calm) but we had almost as much success with the same lures (darker colored chase baits) only fished a little slower.  

We only got to fish for approximately 8 hours (7:45-11:45 Sat, 7:45-11:45 Sunday) but we caught them with the time we had!

Fish quality was equally good with the average size almost 4 pounds.

The water color was great, there was no grass to speak of,  the lake was low but very fishable, The accomodations were spot on for our group of four.  

Thank you to the Landowners and to the Private Water Fishing Team for letting us fish this lake and assisting in the creation of such great memories.
