I took my son out for a spring break fishing day.  I checked the weather multiple times and no mention of rain.  It rained.  Winds were not supposed to be high until mid afternoon.  It was windy.  Good news is I keep rain gear in my truck.  After the rain, it was dead calm.  We didn't get a single bite.  As soon as the wind started we started getting bites.  Water was 64 degrees.  Nothing caught on top water.  All caught on wacky or T rigs.  Ended up with 31 bass.  One double.  Five of the bass were in the 3 lbs range. The battery in my scale died so I had to measure.  They were between 18-¾ and 19 inches.  One was my son’s personal best so disappointing we didn't get a true weight.  About 1 PM it was white capping so we decided to call it quits.  Fun day.
