Fished Cassidy Thursday afternoon with another member.Ful moon on the 14th,water clarity to 18” ,very close to full and water temp up to 65 degrees. Vegetation is growing fast and covering both the shallow north and south ends. A lot of grass is around the entire shore line just under the surface.
We caught 27 bass of which only 2 were under 14”. Caught 6 bass at 18” and many 17” bass.60 % of our fish were on wacky worms and the rest on creature baits,tx rigs,wtless yum dingers,tube baits and tx rigs. We did not use crank baits or spinner baits. Fish were scattered between the shore line and ten ft of water.They did not appear to have spawned yet,all were in great shape.
