Took a highschool classmate out to the bluffs to reminisce our teenage years growing up on Lake Athens.  We got out on the water at 0730 and fished all day until dark. Wind was an issue in the morning and afternoon but calmed in the evening.  Due to the wind in the early part in afternoon, didn't catch a lot of fish but when the wind laid in the evening it exploded. All of them were chunks and put up a great fight.  Most of the fish that we caught we're about 15 to 20 feet off of the south eastern shoreline in 4-6 of water.  Our bigges fish came in at 5.5 and 5.7.  Was a pleasure to meet the owners brother as he gave us some hot spots for us to fish.  Awesome guy.  Awesome day.
