Michael Smith and I fished the beautiful Hickory Creek Ranch on Saturday 3/8.  We started fishing at noon and fished till 4:45 with a half hour break for snack and drying.  The rain was pouring on us in the first 2 hours, but the bass were biting well.  We caught both good numbers oif bass as well as a few big ones!    The Island was a hot spot as well as the wind blown side of the lake.  We mostly fished chase baits with an erratic retrive.
