Tried deep water with everything no luck. Lake is very full so weedline is in about 1-2ft of water. Caught 2 4lbers mid day on a big glide bait in shallow water but that seemed to be a one off thing. Moved to a heavy wieghted creature bait later in the day and caught about 7 in an hour. Put it on a heavy rod so I could really rip it out of deeper grass. Biggest was 6 lbs all fish were very healthy. Fish seem like they are staging in deeper weedlines getting ready to move up. Wish I would have moved to T-rig sooner. Takes alot of patients right now about everyother cast having to clean the slime off, but worth it if you are willing to stick with it.
