I fished from daylight until 2pm at this beautiful lake.  Cool and cloudy for an hour or two, then it warmed up and the skies cleared and the wind increased.  Anchor, fish, move, repeat.  Water visibility was 5 feet and the lake appears full.

The best bite was early with the cloud cover.  I tried some topwater but no go.  Caught one on a spinner, 2 or 3 on a soft plastic swim, and a couple on a Senko, but lizard was their favorite today.  Only two of the 27 bass were under 14” (and so were removed) and of the rest almost all were over 2 lbs, three were over 3 lbs and two were just over 4 lbs.  Overall about the biggest average size I’ve seen and possibly the prettiest bass I’ve seen.  As before the property owner came out and had a friendly word.. Very nice place and a great lake!
