Made the drive to West Lake in heavy fog. Barley could see house across lake from ramp and almost no wind. Air tem in mid 40’s.  Really though this could be one of those great days.  Water temp showed to be 45 but I am wondering if my electronics are off since surface temp went to high 50’s once sun came out of the clouds.  Visibility was around 12” and water was coming out of overflow tube behind the dam.  It appeared the lake may have been a foot or two higher prior to me trip.

Needless to say I saw as many geese and ducks as I did fish.  After multiple trips around lake, fishing shallow and fishing deep I was able to muster a total of 4 with the largest at 3#+.  Culled three and on was a female that was ready to hit the beds.

Still a great lake producing one of the largets fish since being in the club but was not the day for me this time.
