On East Lake at noon, should have gone over to West Lake to avoid the wind which was blowing pretty good. Not my only mistake but it was my first time out in 6 months. Put the trolling motor on backwards, yep first time for everyting. Tried chatterbait, spinnerbait, swimbait. medium crank and TX rigged stickbait and creature. Nothing till 3:30 when either they turned on or my change in worm color made the difference. Third mistake, waited way too long to change color on my soft palstics. Caught 9 total all on the TX rigged worm, mostly 2-3+ lbs, a couple of dinks. Alll fish were pump (except dinks) and fought hard. Off the water at 5:30, wind had died dowm compeletly, should have stayed another 45 minutes to an hour. Fourth mistake. Got a lot of kinks worked out, looking forward to my next PW adventure.
