The weather was spectacular at the beautiful BackJack ranch this past Saturday 2/8.   I started fishing at 12:30PM  and fished till 5:30.  The fish were scattered and hungry and I caught them in every single part of the lake.  No giants on this trip but a lot of solid fish were caught and they all put up a good fight.  I tried chase baits with a little success. They really wanted soft plastics fished medium to slow, just above the abundant grass.

The water was warm and the water visibility was about 24 inches.
