I started out the trip meeting the property owner and really enjoyed talking about fishing with him.  He has some ideas for the property.  
 

Baby frogs were present so I began frogging but no luck.   They were really after the rattle trap and then suddenly it stopped.   I switched to Shad swim bait and they crushed that until that bite turned off.   I switched to 6” worms and that worked til dusk.   
 

All the fish were strong and 2 plump females.  The largest was 4.5 and smallest was a 1.5 lber.   No dinks caught since I was using larger sized lures.
