Headed out to Legacy Oaks on the first break in cold weather temps reached 84 that day which felt amazing.  Hit the water around 8, the lake was beautiful as usual and the water was crystal clear. started out using a spinner bait and  FISH ON!! in less than 2 mintues that was a good sign. floated the perimeter of the lake with a few here and there but finally located the fish in deeper water away from the shallow clear waters using a Texas rig. the bite slowed down around 1pm but picked up a little later and stayed till around 5. Total fish caught was 37 and culled 10 right under 14in. and one slab of a crappie which I took a picture with before I set him free.  As always a great day on this lake and should be on fire come early spring.
