Fished with fellow PWF member Larry Blanchard from 8-2 on a mostly calm, overcast day. Water temp 56 with clear visibility. Caught a good 5.9 on a spoon by the dam in first 30 minutes. Couple other nibbles but otherwise slow morning. Around noon, saw a feeding frenzy in a shallow area, got t it as quick as we could and just went to town. Caught about 8 in less than an hour ,including a 3.6 with the rest 2-3 lbs. Used jerk bait and square bill right into the middle of it. Really fun experience for winter fishing. This lake is hard not to enjoy. And for Larry's first time, he was in heaven. Another trip later in the year is guaranteed.
