Fished East Lake with Dr Brad on Sunday.  Other than it was a little windy, it was a great day on the water.  We were not in a hurry to arrive because of the temperature.  We arrived about 9 AM.  It was cold when we started and a beautiful gorgeous day when we left.  We only caught 4 but for the first trip of 2025 we were pleased that we had no major equipment issues being the first trip out since October.  I hung into one big one about 15 minutes after arriving.  Just got a single flash, enough to tell it was definitely a bass.  I could not move him on the initial hook set and then he ran around the other side of the boat and then he shook off.  That’s just the way it goes sometimes.  Fished West with a couple casts from the bank before we left about 2 PM.     Catches were on a square bill crankbait, purple ribbon tail T rig and a baby bass wacky rig.  Love this lake.  Thank you PWF.
