Blue bird skies, but the first warm front of the year. Almost 70 degrees and light wind from the south. 23 healthy bass caught, smallest two were 15” and the rest were all 3 lbs or more. Largest one was 5.5 lbs. Definitely more activity on the dam end. Not much success out in towards the middle. Seeems like they were relating to grass line about 1/3 of the way out from the bank. Tried dropshot several times with zero success. Chatterbait was the ticket today. They were very successful in their strikes also. Only had 2 strikes that didn’t hook up. Thank you to the owner and PWF for a wonderfully managed property to fish. Here’s the one picture I took. I tried showing off how healthy they are. Alll of them were like this, not a single fish was skinny. The last picture is what the 5.5 pounder spit up while I was reeling it in. About a 6” crappie best I could tell.
