My son (10 yr old) & I decided to have a day to target numbers. We opted to concentrate on #3. It had been over a year since I was there last, so I was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of water and actually be able to cast from the dock. 
We waited until it got warmer to arrive. The wind created challenges all day, but we made it work. We tried a variety of lures, but the only success came when we slowed down everything. 
I knew going in that almost every catch would be a cull. We did release 3 back, and we had a pleasant surprise to land a 3.8 lber. I didn't think any of that size were there.
