Myself and 3 guests fished a half day on Friday Sept 29 and the morning of Sept 30 before the rain ran us off.  Overall, we caught approximately 25 bass with only 7 needing harvesting. The fish were extrememly healthy and this lake is absolutely a “little Fork”.  Most of the bass were in the 2-2 1/2 pond range with 3 being between 3 and 4 lbs.  I ended up being the lucky one with a bass at 8 lbs 12 oz on Friday and her slightly older sister on Sat at 8 lbs 14 oz.  Water temp was around 80 and the fish were caught on chrome Rat’l traps and worms in the creek channel.  We also caught a 2 lb crappie. Awesome place to fish.
