Santa brought me a new kayak so we picked the most beautiful day of the year to fish Legacy Oaks.  If you have not fished this lake you are missing out.  It is GORGEOUS!  We got on the water about 8:00 am.  The fish were all deeper in the middle of the lake.  We caught them on paddletails.  When the sun came up and the temperature rose, they moved to just outside the grass.  The Texas Rig in any color you happened to have in your stash was the ticket. We left around 1:30 only because we had 1000 errands to run!

We are so grateful to the landowner to have such an amazing place close to Austin to fish. It’s a must fish!!
