Reservation Number : 41717
Property Name : Triple B Lake
Reservation Date : 11/27/2024 PM -
Total Fish/Sizes : 44 up to 6.7
Lures Used : Trig worm, chatterbait, lipless crank, crawfish jig

We got out to Triple B a little late, but we had a pretty good time. We fished from 2-5 pm. Launching the 15 ft boat and trailer was a little sketchy. I believe the water level was down at least 2 ft maybe 3. Water was 58 degrees and stained. It was quite windy, but I was happy I had a 24v trolling motor to hold our position. Triple B is a great little pond to bring your kids to fish. We caught fish along the grassline and various drop-off or structure I could find. We ended with 43 bass and 1 crappie.  A lot of fish caught were 10-13 in. and needs culling. Maybe 3 fish were 14 in while the surprise catch was 23 in. That was an insane catch considering all of the small catches. I wasn't really sure, but I saw an aeration system running at the middle of the pond for a sec? Good to know if that's true.

Trey,

Great to have you back in the club. So, glad you got a big one. Likely the lake record! We are aggressively harvesting and have taken out almost 300 bass in the last 90 days. We are adding 3500 large bluegill this week along with numerous brush piles. Watch this lake starting kicking out some 2-4 lb bass over the next 2 years. It takes a few years to turn the lake around with a committed owner, a managment plan, and a little luck. ๐Ÿ€

Yay, lake record! It was a total shocker for me to catch the behemoth after catching numerous dinks up to 14 in. Wow, maybe add Florida hybrid bass afterwards lol? I think I caught native largemouth and spotted bass. The brush piles will definitely help since most of the bottom was structureless from scanning. At the end, we saw aeration bubbles at the middle of the pond for a minute. Do you know if he installed an aeration system in the pond?
