Lake is FULL! But muddy on top of it’s turbidity. Only caught 3 just shy of 14” and this one little 6” that played like a much larger fish. His attitude alone warrants it  valiantly noted. 
I was able to fish the entire lake, even the shallow north end. It was 3-4 feet, some 2’. I flipped the bushes back there n nothing. Did get one fish off a small lonely group of Lilly pads, yes Lilly pads. See pic. They were on 3’. For those who are not familiar with this lake- no vegetation grows here. 

The road to lake- 

Anyone who saw pt 1 n 2 of Santa Fe vs backside the saga has needed. Santa Fe was out down a few months ago. Got a truck now. I will say the last rain of if I had the Santa Fe, it would not have made it out. That big rain not only filled the lake up, but had a large eroding washout. The road is now officially truck only, preferably 4WD. In 4-5 years the owner may want to consider an alternate way to the lake. Another few big rains will do the road in.
