Fished 9:30 am to 6:30 pm with guests Larry Ellis and Harlan Ray. Bum Guinn was the other member guide for the trip and submitted a separate report. Cloudy day with light breeze. Best baits were Zoom swim bait and cranks. Water about 78 degrees and pretty clear. Harvested 58 bass 12” to 16” and 1 crappie. No bass caught over 2 1/2 pounds. Lake was down about 2 feet and launching boat was a challenge. We stayed at the Bunkhouse at China Grove and had a good time. Mr. and Mrs. Weatherford were great hosts. Harlan and I enjoyed winning the weekend 42 championship held at the Bunkhouse.

Great harvest day. Thank you. We needed a day like that at Athens NE. We added $750 worth of tilapia in this lake last May. Did you see any of the tilapia? While most of the tilapia are grey or black, some of them are white and are generally easier to spot.
