Caught 26 at Double A, 11 culls, largest going 4.1.  Bass were caught all over the lake, water temps at 68, healthy weedline and fish suspended in the 15 to 20 ft zone.  With all the rain I was worried about getting stuck with my FWD vehicle but the all-weather road is great and no issue or concerns whatsoever.

As the title states, I caught some large fish that should have been in the high 5 pound range but had no meat and were really skinny.  One of the big ones weighed only 3.7, and not sure if the pictures do it justice but the size relative to weight was disproportionate. Did my best to cull as many as I could……...belly checked a couple culls and they were full of threadfin.   Saw one school of feeding bass around 2pm and they were chasing fingerling bass up near the bank.  In the shallows a swim jig with 3” paddle tail was the ticket.
