Fished Bowie in the morning on September 3rd - got to the water at 6:45. lake is about 2 feet down, but easy to launch a boat (though would be tough to pull a trailer on the road across the ranch). Water is full of sediment which keeps the visibility down to 6-9” - there is no vegetation.

Fished top water up the east side of the lake with no success - then switched to bouncing crank baits off the bottom and then senkos. Caught 12 fish, from all over the lake, with the largest 2 going 4 and 5lb - some much larger fish in here (caught a 7lb in the winter), but could not locate them today.
