Its going to be hard to describe this awesome place and time we had, but I’m gonna try. Fishing was great and we didnt try very hard; maybe 1-1.5 hrs at a time, 1-2 times a day. It never got slow and my wife crushed it on top water with that plooper, regardless of time of day. Lotsa small fish but all were very healthy and once they got over 14” had some shoulders to them.

this ranch is one of the most beautiful places we’ve visited. The lodging was perfect; very comfortable and spotless. The ranch owner is one of the kindest, most generous people we’ve met. A real pleasure to get to know her.

We are so glad we went to Azalea Ranch and we will go back. the lake management plan is a really good one and in the coming years this is a fishery that will produce some quality fish. if you need a nice place to take your family for a few days, this fits the bill in spades. not expensive and well worth the fare. take advantage of the lodging too if you can.

thank you Scott at PWF for helping us with questions, quickly and competently. every time!
