Fished 8-2:30 on a calm, warm day on a lake I have been to many times since it opened. As has generally been the case, bites were along grass lines or over the top of them.  After catching 49 my first trip a couple years ago, the numbers have been declining steadily since. And this is a lake that does not appear to get high pressure based on reports. Never a lake to produce much size even though mostly covered by what should be ideal grass along with some very good depth by the dam and in the middle, the lake may need some attention to improve results. Culling would be a good start I believe. The landowner is now advertising lake lots for sale so the future of this propert is uncertain. I remain hopefull improvements can be made since potential is there for sure.  I will try again in the spring to see what's up then.
